no photos, as I'm 'late' to work (need to go pick up some lag bolts) but I've got all of the major pieces of Patrick's new bed cut, drilled and sanded to 150 grit. Major as defined as the legs and side rails, I still have to do the cross connection boards (I hesitate to call them head and footboards) to sand out, though they are cut to length. I still need to fab up a 'headboard' for him as well, then bolt it all together after I throw a coat of stain on it. If I get back in time tonight before lodge, I'll sand the two pieces to 150, then chop a couple of 2x6's into shape for the headboard.

And the monster pillow top mattress... the 5% is that I need to cut and install taller 'riser' pieces to raise the headboard up a foot or so.

Looks like it will hold up to a teenager, well done.
