Got ALL the pieces? If so, glue them back together and finish the piece.

Use colored epoxy to glue it back together and call it art.
Actually, I feel your pain. Blow-outs happen.

Just another chance to grow your muse...

    Hello Kenneth,

"It" happens... This can be a blessing in disguise. It will give you a chance to explore carving, deconstruction, inlays, negative space vessels, mixed media, lacing, adjunctive treatments, reverse imaging and more. Think of the possibilities! Besides, some of the best pieces I have ever judged in competitions experienced "unplanned design changes" on their way to the judging table. Best wishes to you and good luck in all of your woodturning endeavors!

I'll fifth the motion. Looks like enough was left over to do some type of redesign. It won't be the bowl you started out to make, but there's a 50-50 chance it'll be as good or better than what you originally thought it was going to be.
