    Cherry burl wip

    I picked up a couple cherry burl fri, and decided to cut off the end of the small one today just to see what was in side. Looks like it should be some really nice looking wood. Hope the big one is half as good as the bad end of the little one.Click image for larger version.

    Wow that is going be a spectacular piece of wood. Great form too, can't wait to see this with some oil on it.

    That's gonna look great. There's some nice color in that wood.

    nice looking piece. I never see cherry burl in Texas....Turned it once. Gave it to my sister.
