Shop Made Miter Gauge Flip Stop

I know Incra makes a nice one for their miter gauges but, I bought these back when the V-27 was all you could get . I have a habit of making things work for me so, I grabbed an old piece of an oak front door out of the scrap bin (man that door has 9 lives) and milled the profile I needed.

I use the heck out of mine on my jessem. I'm getting ready to build a cross cut sled and thinking of putting an adjustable stop block on it too.

Clever indeed! Glen, you look like an engineer. You talk/write like an engineer. You design like an engineer. You must have been a salesman!

That's great!!! . I'm gonna use that at work . . . I am an engineer of sorts, I've been what they call a network engineer for the last 30 years. Well, for the first 20 years they just called us "those guys", but then that internet thing worked out better than we thought. I still enjoy going to work, every day.
