This bears repeating. It would be very hard to build one of those and have it work as accurately.

If you buy the incra scale/clamp/fine adjust part it could be built accurately. That piece would be hard to replicate. The fence, rails, and brackets are nothing special. They are standard parts from msc or McMaster Carr, but they aren't all that cheap. The closest thing I see to incra rails is 1.5" x 3" double extrusion, and its more expensive than from incra.

Does anyone know a better source for extruded aluminum and components like incra uses?
