    Google's Inactive Account Manager

Google as added an option to instruct what to do with your account after you are no longer using it. We'll probably start seeing this more and more. I have a friend that has something similar setup that if he doesn't check into, it emails his family account information to access his online things. I also have an Uncle that let his kids/grandkids have access to his FB account after he passed to post pictures of the grandkids to and things on his behalf. It was a bit creepy at first seeing posts on his page after he was gone, but I understand that he had lots of contacts that wanted to stay in touch with the family.

A very good idea. I've often thought about a 'dead mans switch' type of app that would do something similar.
