    I am SO stealing that picture.

    My sister, who has done calligraphy professionally, used to have a fancy hand-written sign above her desk sort of like this:

    Nice! I had to send that to a buddy that was helping me with the stair railing last week. I cut one of the bottom rails an 1" too short and had to re-order one.

    Great idea... I cut a board for a project... it was too short... I cut if off again and it was still too short ???

    Chuck, you're doing it wrong. After the first cut, it should have been obvious that you were cutting the wrong end of the board.

    Chuck, you're doing it wrong. After the first cut, it should have been obvious that you were cutting the wrong end of the board.
    Good point. You may want to check your plans, though. Mighta been cutting the proper end of the board, just that your project is too long!
