New Year's Gifts for some neighbor kids

It's been a long time since I posted any projects. Partly because I haven't worked on any projects since ... wait a minute ... I did do some woodturning around Christmas / New Year's, during one of my unintended "sabbaticals" from the forum.

I tried hard to complete this set of gifts in time for Christmas, but I ran out of time. So I kept working on them and took them over on New Year's Day instead:

Full disclosure: Only one of these was a "true" woodturning project. But the electronic project and the electrical project both included a bit of woodturning as well.

For the full story, see the standalone project page on my BBBurma website.

PS - Recognize the lamp hardware Vaughn?

Great job, Kerry. Three happy kids and a happy builder, too. Well done.

Thanks everyone! I had never done anything like those two motorized projects before. I couldn't believe how long everything took ... which probably explains why most of my wooden projects are small too.

Vaughn ... I assume you didn't see the PS in the OP?
