Im having trouble finding the Bionic Faceshield with the ANSIvZ87.1+. Can someone point me to a link please?. I see them w/o the 1+.. Thanks.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at their models.. Try searching for: Uvex S8500
That claims to be the + model. I believe that then non + model is the S8510.

And I see I bought the S8510.. Hrmmm...

http://www.amazon.com/S8500-Uvex-Sperian-Bionic-Shields/dp/B0040C10KI
From the description:
"Passes ANSI Z87+ and CSA Z94.3 standards"
Of course the exact same part # from other sellers doesn't include that description

However, I'm now thinking that all the bionics face shields meet the ansi spec.. Apparently Sperian is now Honeywell safety so...
http://www.honeywellsafety.com/Products/Eye_and_Face_Protection/Uvex_Bionic.aspx?site=/americas
Shows the difference as:
S8500 - plain
S8510 - Anti-fog/Hardcoat
And under the Overview section shows the type as generically "Meets ANSI Z87+ (High Impact) and certified to the requirements of CSA Z94.3 standards".

So.. presumably the 5810 is a slightly nicer shield and it looks like both models are supposed to be Z78.1+

Ryan,

The paperwork with the one I bought a month or two ago didn't claim the plus certification. As I read it they no longer claim any impact rating according to the later z87.1-2010 rating. You may want to go straight to the source for your information. I just checked all over my visor and frame and neither has the marking indicating it is impact rated. Here is where I got what info I have from:
