    maple bowl

    9 3/8 x 2 1/2. Turned some cherry burl dowels, and some holly dowels, and added them to the top of this just for something different. As you can see I under cut it so the bowl is only 1/4 inch thick, not the 1/2 the top is. Finish is just sanding sealer, followed by lacquer, will wax and buff later.Click image for larger version.

    Wow dude!!! You sure rocked it! How about a little detail about the dowel process...looks like it could be adapted to all sorts of goodies.
