    A little more fungal action

............ no, no, I've not come down with athlete's foot again

Just a quicky, to relax after a hard day at the L shop....

I like this one very much, I got most of the things right on it.

I drill a hole almost all the way through them, I find that when I do this, I do not get, or have not gotten any cracking at all.

The wood was cut just before Christmas last year, sealed up and was still VERY green, wet and gave me a shower.

    The wood is Ginko wood.

    Hey Greg, try any yet?

    Cheers!

    Both!

I use a spindle gouge and drill it out with that, then I turn the bottom out a bit.

Might be the wood you are using as well, this Ginko is not really "hard", so that might be in my favour.

    Cheers!
