    Shop Made Filter Cleaning Wand

Dad asked me about a Lee Valley filter cleaning wand yesterday. I happened to be a the BORG so I blew $1.78 on a garden hose to slip-fit fitting, took a half hour out of my life and made this.

Not near as purty but, functional for this occasional task. 3/32" holes on 3/4" centers at a 12* angle. I made the wand long enough to reach up inside my cyclone filter as well (no, I don't bring the hose into the shop, I take the filter into the yard).

Genius!!! I think I could even make one of those now that you have showed the way. I really didn't even know there was such a thing!

I'm making one. I'll purchase the PVC to hose connector when I take Myrna out to lunch today.

I wish they made a Gortex filter for my ShopVac Hang-up from Lowe's so I could do it also.

    Enjoy,
    Dad
