A buddy of mine from the homebrew club who turned pro asked if I could help upgrade the tap handles for their jockey box (portable pouring system) before the hood river hops fest later this year. So I dug up a likely looking piece of wood and set to.

I have a few nits but quasi happy overall I suppose.

The silver thing at the base is the "ferrule" that will actually attach it to the taps. There is a hanger bolt in the bottom that it screws onto.

Thanks all.

Those rock!! Is he gonna repay you with home brew?

He actually works for a commercial pub now so more like "pub brew" :D - the initial picture is part of some of their logo ware.

The handles should make their public debut at an upcoming local big beer events: http://hoodriver.org/events-festivals/chamber-events/hops-fest. He's modifying an old beer keg into part of the dispensing system system and was looking for some nice handles to go along with it... Unfortunately I won't be able to make that one so I'll have to get him to take a pic of the finished system :D
