    i may be starting a little early....

    but what the heck (can one say heck?), august 2014 is just around the corner. this is the first of i think will be 5 entries to the fair for next year. i had this pretty good idea for a clock that wouldn't go away, so i decided to go with it. since i have a bit of leftover quartersawn white oak, that's what it is going to be made of. it will be stained, and coated with shellac. this was one of the items on my to do list. told you guys i was a busy monkey today!

    worked on the clock a bit more today. did all the final fittings, and drilled the mortises for the tenons.
