    Heading off to Vegas

Leaving tomorrow morning for Las Vegas to attend an Outreach & Technology conference being held by our church body Friday and Saturday. Not a huge fan of the strip. Too many people with too many dreams that are not coming true - or something like that. Will likely spend a lot of time in the workshops, etc. Might drop a few coins in the slots. I'll introduce myself as Allan Levine and that should guaranty me a win!

I've always thought that to be one of the great oxymorons: A religious group meeting in Sin City!

Well, I suppose you do have quite a number of potential converts there.

    Just messin' with ya, Rennie!!!

You are going to need a huge smile on your face to pull that one off.

    Have fun, Rennie.

It's all economics, really. Vegas is one of the easiest places to get to from anywhere else and rooms can be had for a very good rate if you shop around. Also, we have two large churches less than 2 miles from the hotel that will be hosting the event.

Seems like everyone is going to Vegas this year. I hear Vegas is pretty much back to pre-recession levels. Have fun along with the work
