    "Baby Please Dont Go"

Many have recorded a version of this song. Which was your favorite?

For me it was Budgie in 1973.

Anyone else have a different preference?

Not fair. Now I have to research it and go through them all to find one...

    Aerosmith is pretty good,

Still, Muddy Waters, He's the man.

This could be soooo subjective ;-) What about 10 years after or Johnny Winter WITH Muddy Waters.

P.s. I've only met a couple other people who ever even heard of Budgie, let alone listened to them

Most of the Blue's versions especially Charlie McCoy, Lightning Hopkins & Big Bill Bouncy. Not a fan of John Lee Hooker. Non blues, it would have to be Van Morrison.

Ken beat me to it. If so many others remade it, the original is almost guaranteed to kill it.

And for extra credit ... Don'tcha mind people grinnin' in your face
