Contemplating an 8" jointer

Got the new one, its better although not perfect. Probably will keep it since thats probably the best one they had. Other than this fence problem I do really like the machine, it cuts very smoothly, I really like the long tables. Its much easier to face join long boards. The only thing i'm not fond of is the color of the paint, some day I may repaint it to match some of my other tools.
