    Swamp Box

    Well I have finely got started on a project I have been wanting to get at all summer The Swamp Box line of CBG's. I think these are going to be cool I have 2 sold already and I can't wait to see how they turn out.

    Those are gonna be very cool looking Jay. I could use some of that cypress for barn siding.

    Well I woke up last night and had a thought What if that is lead paint on there so off to Lowe's got a test kit and sure enough LEAD PAINT So off to the firebox it goes. Man that sucked. Oh well I have plenty left without any paint on it. Lucky for me I only had one board with paint on it out of 2200' bf

    About ready to slap some finish on these. The guy didn't want all the saw marks in it so had to sand them down. Almost cried

    Nice ones Jay. I like the sound holes. I'll bet that cypress would look nice sand blasted with a burnished, limed and distressed finish too. Have to admit that my preference would be all or nothing on the saw marks.
