Any Aracniphobes Here??

I actually like spiders (minored in Entomology). Paraphrasing one of my old professors, you may not realize it, but here in the U.S. you are probably never more than 10' from a spider. If there's one around my wife and daughters will find it and attempt to kill it with high intensity sound waves:eek:
 
It's a staggering thought, but they have estimated our local populations ranging from 30,000 spiders per acre in Mississippi river bottom woodlands to more than 2 1/2 million individuals in a grassland acre. On the last of our warm days heading home I pointed out to my wife the sheen/reflection coming off the yard, every square inch of our yard was covered in a continuous layer of spider webbing. I'm not sure she'll ever go out in the yard again. ;)
 
Jim, I am always amazed at the perception people have of me. I wonder if we are looking at the sale person. BTW, will be in the neighborhood most of the week of the 29th. Lunch?
