    RIP Phil Everly

1/2 of a great rock/country duo. I grew up listening to them from KMA and KFNF radio in Shenandoah, IA. where they were growing up, just 30 miles away from my home town of Nebraska City, NE. Lot's of good memories and such a great influence on vocal harmony.

Another great talent no longer among us. They had a fantastic sound and stayed true to themselves. I liked all of their music, but my favorite has to be:

The Everly Brothers were a bit before my time, but they definitely left their mark on popular music. Sorry to hear of Phil's passing.

Roger, it must have been cool seeing their progression from being a couple of local boys to being famous worldwide. Along the same lines as a former co-worker of mine who used to see Van Halen playing at backyard keg parties in Pasadena CA when he was in high school.
