I learned something yesterday, while cutting some stiles, never let any of your fingers accidently touch a moving router bit.
Its unforgiving. And it hurts. And then theres a lot of blood all over the router table, all over the floor.
It always sucks when someone has to learn something the hard way.
Im happy, I still have all ten fingers.

I'll add: reading woodworking forums generally doesn't get projects done faster, but you don't feel so bad about not working on them as you might otherwise.
