British Guitar Making in the 1960s

Loved the end where they were buffing a completely assembled guitar, with strings on it... Pretty sure all that buffing happens earlier in the process.

Thanks Vaughn guess you still spending too much money on these non musical instruments that make a noise to have a haircut.:rofl:

Oh you gotta love the Brits. If that voice was female it could have been my mother.

Dont seem like the "messages" in the narration had much effect, thank goodness.:thumb: And they wonder why there was a social revolution. My mother would say "oh poppycock" that would be enough to make a monkey bite its mother to me. time moves on.

Did he say that there were 2 miles of wire in each guitar

I'm betting that includes the windings inside the pickups. Otherwise, there are just a few feet (at the most) of wires.

Brent, like you, I noticed the buffing was done with the strings on. Those wacky Brits! :D

But I don't scientifically tune my instruments. I prefer to use superstition and mythology.
