Very cool , thanks Vaughn. If i won the lotto this is the perfect home for me.

One of my mentors in my life a guy that i guess has sinced passed (Jack Cook) an English ex pat lived in Kenya and worked for Kenya broadcasting organization. Later moved to SA. But while in Kenya this incredible man, (with no fancy degree or education) designed machined and built his own backyard railway and he built the steam driven locomotive for his railway. This was a man of incredible intelligence andcapability. The things he designed as in broad range made him worth a dozen or more men.
Just picture trying to do this in the 60's in Kenya.

I was also thinking the owner must have very happy grandchildren eager to go visit grandpa.

Really neat. Beautiful property. I have sent on to a friend who is a big train buff.

Absolutely beautiful country, house, barns, etc. The RR tracks, bridges, etc. show real craftsmanship and desire to do things right.

I am definitely not a model, or full size, train fan. However, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this!

    Enjoy,

The things you can do with the right amount of money and an over abundance of love for something!!! Wish there was a video of the build!! Jim.
