    Lathe Drilling Jig ?

It seems to me that somewhere I have seen a homemade, out of wood, easy to make, jig to mount a drill on so you can drill holes in round stock, using the lathe indexer to evenly space them.. I forgot cheap. Specifically, I'm thanking drilling holes in a turned disk to make a small spoked wheels. I have searched and searched, cannot find anything. Anyone know of a jig for this?

    Hi Paul
I see that you are a member of the Aussie woodworkers forum. You have probably already seen the links on the toy making forum but in case you missed them :

Thank you guys. The one from the Aussie forum is very similar to the tutorial I have saved. The lathe drilling jigs look doable to me. I have to study them some more. They are certainly in the arena I have been looking for.

Just for anyone interested, I ran across this this morning on LJ project forum. This looks a lot easier to build than a jig to hold a drill on the lathe. May be the way I go.

It sure does. For your purposes, it'd probably be easier to set up and use, too.
