    DVD Converter

Need a way to convert the DVD's I have bought so that I can store on an external hard drive. Prefer free and easy. Want to click a box or two and walk away, come back and it is finished. Needing to clean off some shelf space.

Windows and Android based is stuff I use

The key is removing the Copy Protection and Digital Rights Management. - Google those phrases. The free programs that do it don't work nearly as well as the paid-for programs, which must be purchased overseas due to US laws protecting the Copy Protection.

I forgot the name of the good program I tried a few years ago.

This free software will remove the copy protection and dump the files on the hard drive. You can also make a backup DVDs, for your own use of course.
