I haven't said anything about it yet.

My dad developed Parkinson's disease in his later 70's. I know they still don't really know what causes it. I guess if you get it young, it's mostly genetics, but older, they still wonder if environmental factors weigh in (e.g. living off well water, which was the town I grew up in).

He lived a pretty good life till 93. So what I'm saying is, look forward to medical advances, support from all your family and friends, and just keep kicking. I was always amazed when I went out to the garage with my dad when he had it, he was able to do stuff that you wouldn't have thought he should or could. It's all about attitude. Oh, BTW, I have had type 1 diabetes for nearly 50 years. You can eat just about anything you can catch, dig up, pick and cook. Cut down on high carb foods, but don't ignore them. Watch your blood sugars and reduce your carb intake if you are consistently too high. And don't beat yourself up if occasionally you eat way too much of something. It happens.
