    I have watched that vid before also qnd will have to try it sometime. It looks to be pine, but wondering what walnut would look like or flame boxelder.

    I've seen pictures of them in various woods. I think the flame box elder (FBE) would be a mighty pretty one for sure. The ones I've seen in dark wood just don't appeal to me as much as the lighter woods, lots of grain or color variations. I really like your FBE choice.
