    Galoot's turning tools

I'm not a turner, but I thought this was an interesting cross-over tool.

I've heard of using planes and chisels on a lathe, but this guy uses an axe or hatchet.
What other flatwork tools have been used on your spinney machines?

Interesting. Looks akward and somewhat pointless to me. But what caught my attention was the Ozarks location. I looked them up and found he is in Aurora, Missouri. This isn't far from where my son lives. I believe I'll go see his shop one day and maybe buy some wood from him and trade lies.
