Looks good Jim! It's right up my style alley

Looks like the base wood was maple?
The finish sure came out nice and even.

Very nice, Jim. What kind of wood did you use?

Beautiful. Really nice build Jim. You put the "value added" in your furniture. From design , construction technique, hardware and then finish.
I can see that piece looking good in a variety of woods. Qtr sawn oak, cherry, maple, walnut.
    Like the matching side tables.

Ever thought of offering the same design with a serving tray design incorporated in the top as an option. Could be a nice differentiation for a piece like this. Thinking of those butler hinges and a fold flat tray.

It's maple Vaughn. I know that's not the traditional wood per this design but it's what we've done everything else with.

You did beautiful work, I love the design. I usually don't care for shaker, but you made it turn out elegant looking.
