Drove a nail with a hammer.

I was hanging an outdoor plant hanger for my wife yesterday and I left my drill and bits in the shop. Being to lazy to go get them I used a hammer and a nail to make a starting hole for the screws. It got me thinking about the last time I used it for banging nails ?????? can't remember, probably years ago.

How about you. What common shop item haven't you used in awhile ????????????????

Circular saw for me, since I upgraded the table saw and made some room in the shop, I can now break down sheet goods with out it though I'm not as strong as I remember man-handling those 3/4 sheets

American hand saw. I do saw by hand occasionally, but I use Japanese hand saw when I need to.

Well... If I had to think to hard about that I'm pretty sure there'd be a few things I should be moving down the road so not sure this is in my best interest

It has been a while since I've used any of my air tools except the tire filler attachment though.... And wire pliers mostly sit unloved until I need to make tomato cages (6yrs) or do some fencing (8 yes).. I'm sure there are more, best not to dig to deeply...

It would probably be the hand rip saw.

By the way, how does your thumb feel?
