Clever idea for planters from junk logs

Basically take some logs with rotted out centers or limb sections, cut them into junks (err I mean CHUNKS - dang it freudian slips), clean them up a little and sell them as planters. I could see these moving reasonably well at farmers markets and such. Most of this wouldn't work very well for firewood anyway and the $/code is a lot better as well :)

And if you carved hearts, an arrow, and offered custom initials, you could make much more. Called added value. Clean out the rot to fit a flower pot, too. $100 easy.
 
Might consider drilling a hole through the bottom to drain any excess water from the plant soil from heavy rains/over watering, or add small rocks at the base or the plant.
