RV Update

Got some final touches done tonight, he's coming to pick it up tomorrow.

The original carpet had a snap on rug on the back step, I saved the rug, it needs cleaning, but I put the snaps back on the step if they want to use it still.

Here's a pano looking from each direction. the panels show at the bottom of the first pic aren't angled, just some parallax from the pano.

Stopped at the metal shop and got a new piece of stainless for the table post. I cut this one to 32", but may need to cut it down a few more inches, will let him decide tomorrow when they come to get it.

His wife is taking the pads from the old table benches to an upholstery shop to have them made into back rests to put along the walls on each side.

Overall there are things I would have done differently if I was to do it again, but I'm happy with the outcome, hope they will be too.

Well its gone. They seemed happy with the work. They are taking it to California for 3 weeks, so they'll have plenty of time to find the imperfections.

I've been following this thread but I did not comment on it, Darren, you did a really great job, I'm sure your friend will be thrilled.

You are a man of many talents! :thumb:

Thanks Stu. One change he did ask for and I took measurements, will build, and install when they get back. The panel he built for the stereo (top left, covered in a KC Chiefs pattern), he'd like to replace with some of the matching maple, centering the stereo and add a slot for the new dvd player there. This used to be a pigeon hole for an older 13" tv to sit in. Since they use it for tailgating I didn't even bother to ask if it should be changed out. I found the stereo manual and have the opening dimensions, so should have it ready when they get back.
