Turned the Base first then made the shade took 2 months to turn it all the way. First ruffed it an soaked it in dishwashing soap for a week then let dry for a month. Next turned it to final an let it soak in Tung Oil for a week then sanded it wet, then let it dry. All finished except the hand buffing an wax took a few hours of it

Now that took some effort! Norfolk pine is usually soaked in water/dish soap, something about specific gravity and fiber orientation. Really well done Roy!

Well done Roy.

For those of us that have a harder time spelling words there is a little program down load called iespell for Internet Explorer that has made me look like I can spell most of the time & it works real good.

I now use what ever is in Firefox.

I helps me greatly if I re-read my post & title to the post before I post it. Really I make lots of mistakes.
