This is a quickie I did for a proposal for a client. Their design brief indicates that book are very important to them but they also want a place for the television.
This is what the client asked for.
After seeing the image the client agreed with me that it looks like too much furniture in a room that is too small.
Here's my current proposal.

The black panel below the television is a smoked acrylic or maybe frosted glass paneled door to hide the DVR and maybe a DVD play. they say they only have a DVR but I'm guessing that'll change. The television will be mounted on an articulated arm so it can be pulled out of the cabinet and turned if desired. This was just a quickie sketch and I didn't spend a lot of time on details or applying materials.
