    bowl again :)

Well as I havn't posted a turning in over 2 months ( havn't had much time to play) Did get this one mostly finished yesterday. Still needs curing, wax and buff, but thought I'd post it any way. Maple burl, 12 1/2 x 4, Danish oil 2 coats so far, might add a couple more, not sure. Was wanting it to be a bit thicker than the 1/8 inch it ended up being, but didn't leave it thick enough when I ruffed it out. really wanted something a long the 3/8 thick. O well it is what it is. Thanks and as always C&C more than welcome.

That'll be a stunner once you get a bit of finish on it! Good job at keeping it together at that thickness anyway I'm betting with that grain it was a little bit of a challenge to get it to come out that nice.

Well, it's obviously not done...there's no signature on the bottom!

Great bowl, Steve. Awesome wood and a classic form.

A lot of character in that wood. When I can turn out something like that, I still won't find anything to criticize.

Thanks guys. Yep it is way to light for my liking, but I think i'll put Larry's name on it as he just loves to turn.
