    I Did a Little Turning

    It's a lidded box.

    The lid comes off.

    Like I said, I did a little turning.

    OD is 1-3/8".

    MIL will be pleased with her new pill box.

    This was the last thing I made on my Jet lathe before retiring it.

    Edit 1: Finish is a coat of tung oil, then some rattle can lacquer a few days later.

    Edit 2: Oh...as if you couldn't guess...it's maple over walnut.

    That's neat Bill! My dad has made a few pill boxes and given them to friends at church and the Y. I can't get myself to be able to make something that small...but I should give it a try.
