    Nothing is ever really new!

Not really an original idea! A great friend of mine sent these as blanks to me some years back. He didn't think they had the standards of pen blanks that he wanted to turn into pens!

Well, Mack, those blanks might not have lived up to your friend's standards, but I'll bet he'd want them back now!!! You did great!

Here I thought I was on to something. As you know I like this type of blank. http://familywoodworking.org/forums/...lt-Action-Pens The randomness is infinite and exciting. I currently have 25 blanks made up and more ideas churning around in my head.

Hi Terry; Don't over think your designs and lose the randomness in them!

What is the thickness of your veneer inserts? I have some color dyed cherry veneer, but when it's split the dye coloring doesn't go all the way through!

I've had many good comments from the buying public, but they still sit in my inventory for the past 3+ years. I have them priced @ $40.00 ea. since I didn't spend time making the blanks.

Kinda tragic to trash one design over another. They both look great. Time to leave this forum when we have to argue over who did what when.
