    Lost another Turner..

    Bruce Shiverdecker passed on in August.. had tried to get in touch and got not reply so today done some more digging and found this LINK

    RIP, Bruce and may the lathe turn smooth up there for you...

    He's in a better place, was just thinking about him around 2 weeks ago. Rest in peace and condolences to his family.

    Sorry to see the news. He was one of the good guys. Condolences to his family and friends.

    As I recall, it was Bruce who brought the little Wilton mini lathe to my attention many years ago over on Sawmill Creek. That was the tool that started me down the slippery slope into woodturning.
