    Mango Burl Platter

    Got a 800 lb Mango Burl from a friend down in St. Petersburg an sliced it an diced it up it had over 50 lbs of concrete in it tho but got a few nice Platter blanks out of it. Here is one of the platters I turned

    Nice bowl Roy. I really like those natural edge bowls and the burl makes it that much better. Is that Mango the same as the ones with Mango fruit?

    Man, that looks like a jewel sitting on that beautiful blue material. However, I have a feeling that it would look like a jewel even if it was sitting on my shop floor.

    Beautiful job. I love natural edge bowls, almost a much as I love mango's.
