Clever router based mitre spline jig does dovetails too

I am off to the shop to knock out some sort of spline support for the dust compartment door on my new router table. Came across this nifty jig for cutting splines on the router table. Its quiet versatile in its use check video out. Does more than the tradditional table saw style jig.

The type of spline i am settling on its this one given the dimensions of the frame i need it to reinforce the joint.

Just love how simple and efficient this guy has made his video.

If you have a shaper check this out for an amazing joint.
