A fun and quick little project. A kid's chair.

A couple days ago I got a message from someone in the NTSAD offices in Boston. They saw the horse themed garden bench I made and loved it. She asked if I might be able to make them another one for their annual fund raising auction coming up in November. I told her time wasn't too much of a factor because I can build it in 2-3 days tops. The issue was the size and shipping cost from Detroit to Boston. So she asked about maybe a children's chair or something. I said sure. I found a plan online that I liked, but I tweeked it a bit and added a slide on/off lid for the storage compartment. Then I sprayed the lid with blackboard paint so it's a chalkboard for them to write on. Seems kind of fun to me. I pretty much built it yesterday afternoon and sprayed it. I let it set overnight and added their logo in vinyl to the seat. I really like the way it came out. I hope it brings in a couple bucks for the cause.

I like that John, it should be a hit with their fundraiser. Not too shabby for an afternoons work.
I'm supposed to respect my elders, but its getting harder and harder for me to find one now.
