Well Dad is in the hospital after falling backwards down 4 stairs on to his back. I know this doesn't sound bad but with ankylosing spondylitis this is a very serious thing. He has fractured 3 vertebras and is most likely going to require some surgery. Not sure how extensive of surgery yet but only time will tell.
