    Wing nuts source needed.

Can someone point me in a direction where i might find a source for a couple of wing nuts for 1/2 threaded rod.

BUT NOTE: i want the kind of wing nut with the large flat wings that one would find on an acme threaded C clamp.

I have found the ones that are anything but a wing and hurt your hand only not even those for half in rod.

And no wing nut jokes you nuts.
    cheers

Try Fastenal.com, Rob! They're in Aurora, Richmond Hill, Vaughn, Nwmkt, & Markham.

If Fastenal doesn't have them, Grainger.com does.

Facebook is full of 'em, too.

Failing all of the above, I recommend Schurman's Industrial Supplies, Berwick NS. A bit of a drive, but you could drop in here for coffee
