    shotgun shell display

A friend of mine acquired a shoebox full of old paper shotgun shells. He asked me if I could make him a display for them and one of the boxes. I was able to scrounge up some weathered Doug fir (I think) and this is the results. I still need to put a finish on it. I stained the fresh cut wood to tone down the contrast.
