Ned's Kickstarter Build

The project is all 'potential' until the funding period ends; if I didn't make my goal, nobody would be charged, I wouldn't get the funds and both kickstarter and amazon wouldn't get their cut. Since my goal is absolutely blown out of the water, the backers have now been charged, and in a couple of weeks, I'll be able to transfer funds (less kickstarter and amazon's portions) over to my account. In my case, that's so I can buy more wood and ship the boards I'll be able to make before hand.

Hmmm... silly tapatalk, should rotate that one...

Funding is 'complete' and now I'm waiting on a portion of it to hit my bank. In the meantime, building, building building, despite the power issue.

Oh, and Amazon lets me use funding to buy stuff directly... so I just pulled the trigger on a Grr-ripper tonight.

I did a bit of craigslist mining last night... lucked into this haul as a result

one huge slab (which I'm going to try NOT to cut up)... plus about 50 bf of 5/4 air dried walnut...

which I masked up and got the whole thing for $250 slab and all.

Heck of a slab, you won't get.. board.. with that one :thumb:

So does this mean that you've got the electrical situation under control? Good to see you're making dinner good progress!
