    Skillet trivet

The nursing home my son cooks for bought skillets for skillet breakfasts. When they arrived they realized something was missing. My son asked to make a trivet to show his boss. You can see I got the job. 23 Cherry and 1 Walnut, 9 inch diameter. I used coconut oil for protection. Should be ok until some knuckle head puts them through the dishwasher.

Those are cool, Terry. Coconut oil is a solid at room temp. You used it because it has a high flash point? I'm guessing they will develop some interesting character after they get used awhile.

Those look great. Lots of folks I know use feed (organic) coconut oil to their dogs....and rub it on them....

Those look like they'll do the trick. Nice job, Terry.
