Just got notice in email today that Powermatic is releasing a short bed version of the 3520B lathe...the 2020:

Seems a bit expensive to me, but it'd make for a nice lathe in a small footprint for those who can afford it. It also accepts the 18" bed extension for a little more tailstock room.
