    Passive Speakers for Iphone

Saw this in a Rockler Email Ad. I'm sure you could make one for a LOT less than $40.00

i'm planning on making some next year, but not like that. the only problem is that iphone speakers are on the bottom, and android speakers are next to the camera at the top. so you could say with mine, the phone would have to go in head first....

All of the plans I've seen for similar projects use scraps, so no real cost. Here's a link to part one of a video, which will then take you to part two:

seems like the expensive part would be for the spherical bowl router bit. I guess you could do it with a forstner bit and carve the bottom round... Just depends how valuable your time is I guess...

Been thinking about doing one for my android, but also want to include a slot for the charger to be plugged in, which is in the bottom, speaker is on the back.

that was the only awkward thing, the iphone speakers are at the bottom of the phone, and the android speakers are towards the top, along side the camera. i bought the plans for the one from the woodstore. the only thing i could think of is to put the android into it top first. we shall see....
