I'm getting a good amount of these ready , I have four others drying and 8 finished. Started turning Strikers in hopes of selling a striker match up with a call.

I don't really know enough about the mechanics of using them to comment in a useful way other than to say your turning looks pretty nice and crisp. I'm surprised that you don't part off the ends of strikers more while on the lathe. When doing stuff like that I usually almost entirely part off the pretty end while on the lathe and usually take the other end to not much more than a nub.
Ryan I leave the ends on the strikers so I can spin them for sanding and finishing. Once that's done I'll spin the ends off to the shape I want.
