    Shopping, Bah Humbug... :)

I posted this on FB, thought I'd share it here as well...

    Twelve days left until Christmas
    And I've haven't bought a single gift
Seems like it happens each year now
My gears are much slower to shift

I had plans to start on black friday
But I was too bloated to move
The following days were all football
The remote and I were in such a groove

That next week flew by in a flash
    The 'honey-do' list exhaustingly long
It was all I could do each evening
To sit back with a drink made strong

I figured I'd hit it that weekend
The malls would be hopping full swing
But just as I reached the checkout
    I realized I had no Ka-Ching

I had left my wallet at home
When I changed into store fighting gear
So empty handed I left in sorrow
And slithered home for a well deserved beer

Every year it's the same tired thing
The pretty lights are beginning to gray
    Oh what a wonderful season
If I could have a moment with that guy in his sleigh

Ken those reindeer eyes remind me of the chickens in that animated movie Chicken Run.

Looks like they waiting for something to happen they all bunched up in a protective herd.
    cheers

That guitar is dangerously close to the woodstove. Don't be getting any ideas there, buddy!

    Happy Humbug to you, Ken!

The thought crossed my mind 3rd fret is buzzing, need to address that when I catch my breath {did my first major glue up today, 3-2x4' sheets of mdf for the bench top...this old guy hasn't moved that fast in ages lol}...BTW, love the sound of those strings you sent, well, not the low E G-note Zzzzzz
